Nancy K. Muli

Board Member

Nancy is a professional health worker who serves as Director of Memory Care Services for a senior living company. She was born and brought up in Kenya where she earned a Bachelor of Theology from Scott Christian University and a post-graduate degree in education from Kenyatta University. Nancy worked as a high school teacher in Kenya for twelve years before accompanying her husband to the US. While here in the States, she completed her Master of Education and counseling psychology with concentration on mental disorders among seniors and a certification and gerontology. Nancy is a Certified dementia Practitioner (CDP) and a Certified Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Trainer (CADDCT). She has a contagious love for seniors and children. While in Kenya she had a great relationship with neighbors’ children. She developed special relationships with her high school students and often invited groups of them to her home for food and fun. Here in the states, she continues to open her home to children and young people. Nancy refers to them as her children and they call her their African mom or aunt. She is a mother of four wonderful young adult children. During her spare time, Nancy enjoys singing, cooking, gardening, and spending time with her family.
