Volunteer Led Organization
Anaweza is supported by volunteers who believe deeply in our mission. All U.S. based Anaweza board members and directors serve entirely on a volunteer basis and receive no salary or compensation of any kind.
Our resources are directed toward the children and scholars we serve, along with our two dedicated field staff members in Kenya. They regularly visit our scholars’ homes and schools, check on their well-being and progress, provide care and support when needed, and report back to our U.S. team.
This volunteer-led model allows us to keep our focus where it belongs: supporting vulnerable children and helping them build brighter futures.
